REASI, Feb 4: A middle-aged man died after falling down into a gorge in Arnas area of the district.
Police spokesman said that, 30-year-old Jagdip Singh, son of Kunj Lal of Taran was on its way to his in-laws house from Panada to Thakrakote, when his foot slipped and he fell into 50-feet gorge.
His body was recovered and shifted to hospital, from where it was handed over to legal heirs for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
