UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: A man died after he fell from a hill at Jiun Morh, Pancheri, here today.
The deceased was identified as Shankaar Singh (47), son of Shiv Dass of Pancheri. He fell from a height of around 300 feet hill last evening and sustained a serious head injury. Locals rushed him to PHC Pancheri and doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu where he succumbed to his injury around 3 a, m.
The deceased was a shopkeeper and had been operating Khidmat Centre in Pancheri.
Meanwhile, body of a youth was found from Dudhar Nallah, near Rehambal, here last evening, under suspicious circumstances. The deceased was later identified as Subhash Kumar, son of Dhruv Singh of Bihar.
Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
