JAMMU, Oct 11: A man died today after falling from a hillock in Kangar area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Gharota.
“The deceased was identified as Tingar Shah (35) son of Shankar Shah, resident of Bihar (at present living in Chinore area of Jammu),” a police official said. He said the deceased was a labourer by profession and had gone in Kangar area for some construction work.
The official said as per reports, Tingar Shah accidentally fell of a hillock in Kangar area when he had gone to attend nature’s call. His body could be retrieved only in the evening, he said, adding, they have shifted the body to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
“Gharota police had taken cognizance of the matter,” the official added.
