RAMBAN, Apr 1: A man was hit and killed on the spot by a dumper in Gangroo area.
The mishap occurred at about 4 PM when a dumper bearing registration number JK19-4271 driven in a rash and negligent manner by Shabir Ahmed son of Mohd Ramzan Bali, resident of Larkhethi (tehsil Ramsoo, district Ramban) hit the pedestrian namely Mangatullah son of Gulam Mohd Gujjar, resident of Gangroo.
After committing the crime, the driver of the dumper fled away from the spot. The dead body of the deceased person was handed over to his legal heirs after completion of all formalities. In this connection, a case FIR No 35/2022 was registered in concerned police station and further investigation initiated.
