SAMBA, Aug1: One person died after he was hit by a train near beat number 3 in Bari Brahmana area today.
He has been identified as Ranjan Pandit, son of Sonu Pandit of Lower Birpur falling under Bari Brahmana Police Station.
He died on the spot. His body was identified by his brother, Sanjay Pandit. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and body has been handed over to family for last rites after performing legal formalities.
