JAMMU, Aug 9: A 52-year old man died in a road accident here, Police said.
They said Romi Sharma son of Satpal of Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, was injured after an auto collided with a car at Narwal, Qasim Nagar, Jammu, on August 1, 2023.
“He was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu the same day where he didn’t respond to the treatment around 2:16 am today,” said police.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary for conducting the post-mortem while a case under relevant sections of the law stands registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu.
Meanwhile, a septuagenarian sustained injuries in a road accident here at Jourian area today.
Police said Darshan Lal (72) son of Girdhari Lal of Jourian, Akhnoor, suffered injuries after he was hit by a motorcycle at Jourian.
The injured has been hospitalised where his condition is stated to be critical.
Police in Jourian have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
