RAJOURI, May 20: One person was killed after a car fell into a nallah from the bridge in Nowshera area during early hours today.
Reports said at around 4 am today an Alto car bearing Regd No. JK12B- 4224 driven by one Sham Lal , resident of Poonch was on its way towards Rajouri from Nowshera side. When it reached at Thalka bridge, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into the Nallah. The vehicle driver sustained serious injuries and was shifted to SDH Nowshera by nearby Thalka Naka police officials.
After preliminary treatment, he was referred to GMC Rajouri for further medical treatment. However, he succumbed to injuries while being shifted to GMC Hospital, Jammu from Rajouri this afternoon. His body after postmortem was handed over to the family.
