JAMMU, Oct 12: A man died today when a tractor on which he was travelling, turned turtle in Satwari area of city outskirts.
“The mishap occurred today at about 4 am near MBS College, Jeevan Nagar”, the official said, adding in the mishap, a man identified as Rohit Singh son of Tara Singh, resident of Phlian Mandaal, received serious injuries.
He said that the injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. After conducting post mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
In this connection, Satwari police had registered a case and started investigations.
