RAJBAGH, Sept 1: A man died due to electrocution at his house in Hari Chack Saini area of Marheian Teshil, today.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Rakesh Kumar (29) son of Sansar Singh, a resident of Hari Chack Saini area of Marheian Teshil in-advertently came in contact with a live wire when he was shifting pump set at his house and received serious burn injuries.
In unconscious condition he was shifted to District Hospital, Hiranagar where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body was handed over to his family after conducting post-mortum.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Rajbagh and investigations started.
