KISHTWAR, July 20: A man died due to electrocution while five others received injuries when they were trying to fix celebration flags on electric pole in Gulabgarh area of Padder, here.
As per police sources, six persons received electric shock while trying to fix celebration flags on electric pole in Gulabgarh area of Padder.
All the injured persons were shifted to nearby hospital where doctors declared one of the injured persons as brought dead. The five injured persons were rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar for advanced treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Hem Raj, son of Hera Lal of Kabban, while the injured have been identified as Sonam Tundip of Kabban, Padma Dorjay of Gulabgarh, Nawang Sonam of Kabban, Tenzen of Kabban and Sonam Tashi of Kabban.
Atholi police has taken cognizance in this regards.
