JAMMU, Sept 15: One person died in a road accident at Canal area here today, police said.
They said said Manoj Kumar son of Babu Ram of Mandlik Nagar Phase-2 falling under Canal Police Post was injured after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck at Canal area.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors pronounced him as dead on arrival, said police.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital while as a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concerned police station.
