REASI, Oct 12: A 30-year-old man died in a road accident at Arnas area here today, officials said.
They said Arfan son of Mohammad Sultan of Thakrakote, Reasi, suffered injuries after an Alto car (JK20A-3272) he was driving plunged into a gorge following his (driver’s) failure to negotiate a sharp curve at Arnas area.
The injured was rushed to District Hospital Reasi where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, officials said.
After completing the medico-legal formalities, police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law at Arnas Police Station and started further investigation.
