REASI, Apr 28: An unidentified person died after a tanker fell into a deep gorge in Mahore Area of Reasi District today.
“A tanker (JK14J-7748) fell into a gorge near Jamlan Bridge in Sarh area of Mahore Village in Reasi District. One person travelling in the vehicle died on-the-spot,” a police official said.
He said the body of the victim was shifted to CHC Mahore for conducting the post-mortem and identification while a case under the relevant sections of the law stands registered at Police Station Mahore.
According to the police official, an aadhar card belonging to one Raj Singh (35) son of Kewal Singh of Udhampur has been recovered from the accident spot but the identity of the deceased had not been ascertained till the press time.
