UDHAMPUR, June 26: A middle aged man died of fall from a moving train here this morning.
According to reports the deceased was travelling in Uttar Sampark Kranti Train which was on its way from Delhi to Katra and he fell down from the train at Chak Rakwalan railway track of Udhampur-Katra route.
Cops from GRP rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Jagdish, 38, son of Leela Ram, resident of Dwarkapuri, Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Railway Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
Body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem.
