JAMMU, Nov 12: A man from Uttar Pradesh (UP) died today due to suspected cardiac arrest in a shop at Raipur Patha in Satwari area of city outskirts.
“The deceased identified as Sipahi Ram (50) son of Shubh Dayal, resident of UP and at present living in Chattha area, was found in unconscious condition in the dry clean shop at Raipur Patha, where he was working for past some time”, a police official said.
He said that the Sipahi Ram was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem while Chattha police has initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in the case”, he added.
