RAJOURI, Mar 26: A man lost his life while his wife was seriously injured in a road accident in Nowshera area of Rajouri district today.
Official sources said that the a collision took place between a bike bearing registration number JK11 F/ 1470 and a truck bearing registration number JK 02 CT/4094 on Jammu- Poonch Highway near Haveli Restaurant at Narian. The man identified as Altaf Hussain son of Manzoor Hussain, resident of Ward No. 04, Aitti, Rajouri died on the spot while his wife, Mehnaz Akhter received serious injuries.
SHO Rajouri, Inspector Aejaz Ahmed Wani reached the spot and shifted the injured Mehnaz to SDH Nowshera.
BMO Nowshera, Dr Iqbal Malik told that seriously injured, Altaf Hussain died and his wife who was also injured is under treatment in SDH Nowshera.
