JAMMU, Aug 28: A man drowned in Ranbir canal here today, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Bablu Bhat, a resident of Purkhoo, District Jammu. He drowned near Purkhoo and his body was recovered near Patoli Brahmana.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Domana Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
