JAMMU, Apr 25: A man was injured due to electrocution in Channi Himmat area on city outskirts.
According to a police official, the victim identified as Beg Lal (40) of Jharkhand, who was presently residing at Sector 1, Channi Himmat suffered injuries after he came in contact with a live electric wire at Channi Himmat.
He said it was not known immediately whether he received electric current at his home or somewhere outside, however, the injured was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. The concerned police had also taken cognizance of the matter.
