JAMMU, Aug 16: A middle- aged man committed suicide by hanging at his residence at village Pangyari in tehsil Akhnoor today.
The deceased has been identified as Sobha Ram (37), Babu Ram, resident of Pangyari, in Akhnoor. The family members noticed him hanging from the ceiling hook of his room in the morning and raised alarm. They rushed him to Akhnoor hospital where doctors declared him as dead. The police came to know about the incident and started investigation after registeration of a case. The body after postmortem was handed over to the family for the last rites.
