JAMMU, Nov 13: A 36-year-old man ended his life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan at his residence in Janipur locality here, officials said.
Babu Ram son of Lakhan of Uttar Pradesh at present Lower Roop Nagar, Janipur, Jammu, was found hanging from his ceiling fan using a stole, at his current accommodation, they said.
On getting information, he was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, officials said.
According to them, police have initiated inquest proceedings to find out the reasons as to why the man took such an extreme step to end his life.
