JAMMU, Jan 3: A man ended life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Village Kalri in Kot Bhalwal area falling under the jurisdiction of Gharota police station.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Babbu son of Madan Lal, a resident of Kalri, Tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu, was shifted by his family members to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu in the morning of January 1, 2015 after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
After battling with life for two days, Babbu breathed his last this morning. His dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
