JAMMU, Sept 25: Akhnoor Police arrested a man engaged in manufacturing illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information about a person manufacturing and selling illicit liquor, a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SHO Inspector Hilal Azhar conducted raid at village Jamotian.
During raid, police team recovered and seized distillery and other manufacturing utensils along with 20 litres of illicit liquor.
The police team also arrested the person, who was engaged in manufacturing illicit liquor. The arrested person was identified as Kuldeep Sharma, son of Mangi Ram of Village Jamotian Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 250/2021 under Section 48 (b) (d) (e) has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
