JAMMU, May 12: A man died today after falling from the roof top of his house in Talab Tillo area of city outskirts.
“Mohan Lal (37) son of Swarn Dass, resident of Sarika Vihar (Talab Tillo) accidentally fell down from the roof top of his house when he was allegedly taking a walk on the roof, early this morning”, a police official said.
He said due to fall, Swarn Dass received serious injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 4.10 AM.
“After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, the official said, adding that the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
