JAMMU, Nov 16: A 38-year-old man died here at Janipur area today after he slipped from a building he was painting.
Jai Govind Verma alias Raju son of Ram Dulare Verma of Uttar Pradesh at present Thathhar, Patoli, Jammu, was painting a building at Fish Market, Janipur, Jammu, when he slipped from the top floor around 10:30 am today, police said.
“He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him dead on arrival,” they said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination police have initiated inquest proceedings to further investigate the matter.
