JAMMU, Aug 25: A 50-year-old man died after he fell from a building here in Janipur area today, police said.
They said Vikas Kumar Babbar (50) son of Raj Kumar of Sector number 7, Shivalik Puram, Janipur, Jammu, fell from the second floor of a building at Shivalik Puram, resulting in injuries to the middle-aged man.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where he was declared as dead on arrival, police said.
Inquest proceedings under CrPC 174 have been initiated to further probe the matter, added police.
