REASI, May 8: A man is feared dead after he was attacked by a leopard near his house at Dewal in Sub-Division Mahore of Reasi district, here this morning.
Reports said that 40- year old Ghulam Nabi, son of Abdul Gaffar of Dewal Salniwat was working outside his home when a leopard attacked him and dragged the victim towards forest area. As some locals raised alarm, the leopard with its prey in jaws jumped over a nallah with the result that victim fell into flowing water where he probably drowned.
The locals launched a search in the river water but body of the victim was not traced till last report came in.
