JAMMU, Nov 6: Displaying a rare act of honesty, a man from Jhulaka Mohalla area of Jammu district returned a lost ring to its rightful owner.
Sanjay Sharma son of Hans Raj Sharma reportedly found a gold ring worth approximately Rs 1.5 lakh from the Jain Bazar area on November 4, 2024.
Accordingly, he approached Pacca Danga Police Station to hand over the ring to the police.
Thereafter, a public notice was issued by the Pacca Danga Police Station to locate the rightful owner of the ornament.
Two days later on November 6, 2024 (Wednesday), one Shivang Kabra son of Anil Kabra of Kali Janni Gali, Moti Bazar, Jammu, approached police, claiming ownership of the ornament.
After proper verification, police returned the ring to him and appreciated the honesty of the person who returned the ring.
