UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: A middle-aged man was found dead in the shopping complex of Gurudwara Singh Sabha.
As per reports, Tara Chand alias Mani Ram of Samroli, Udhampur was found dead at the first floor of the shopping complex of Gurudwara Singh Sabha.
The body was shifted to District Hospital for postmortem, while, police has registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, one person identified as Joginder Singh, son of Niranjan Singh of Jandrah, Jakadi, was fishing at the bank of river Tawi. He threw a small grenade (used for killing fish) and accidentally lost his right hand in blast.
He was shifted to District Hospital and later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered and investigation started.
