SRINAGAR, Apr 16: An unidentified person age about 25 years old was found dead this morning on National Highway near Awantipora.
Police spokesperson said today that at about 4 am a body of a person was recovered on Jammu Srinagar National Highway, near Jowbehara, Awantipora. Initial investigation, are suggestive of it being a hit and run case. The body of deceased was dispatched to Sub District Hospital, Pampore for post mortem and other legal formalities. Police have registered a case in this regard.
