JAMMU, Nov 6: A man was today found dead at his residence in Satwari area due to suspected alcoholic intoxication.
According to a police spokesman, the deceased identified as Bharpor Singh (43) son of Nar Singh, resident of Suratgarh (Rajasthan), at present residing in MES Quarter, Satwari, was a habitual drunkard and used to drink heavily, which may be the reason of his death.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem. A case in this connection was registered at police station Satwari and inquest proceedings initiated.
