JAMMU, Dec 1: Dead body of a man was recovered today from Purkhoo area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, some passersby this morning spotted the dead body of a man namely Pawan Singh (26) of Doda who was presently residing at Purkhoo Camp, lying near Army Camp in Purkhoo area.
On their information, a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
In this connection, Domana police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
