RAMBAN, May 11: Police here today recovered the body of a local under mysterious circumstances from a deep gorge near village Thatha Ganote falling under Police Station Ramban jurisdiction.
On getting information about the body cops from Ramban reached the spot and retrieved the dead body and shifted it to District Hospital Ramban for post mortem and other legal formalities.
The deceased was identified as Veidesh Kumar, 25, son of Bhahmal, resident of village Darman Marg, Tehsil Rajgarh, Ramban.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Inspector Vijay Kotwal said in order to ascertain the actual cause of death inquest proceedings under Section 174 have been initiated.
