REASI, Jan 1: Under mysterious circumstances, a 50-year old man was found hanging in his house at Pouni while two pedestrians were injured by a rashly driven car at Reasi town.
Reports said that Thodu Ram, son of Dwarka Nath of Khandyari, Tehsil Pouni was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house. On being informed, Police shifted the body to PHC Pouni. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs.
Even as it appears to be a case of suicide, the matter is being investigated by the Pouni police under Section 174 of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, a fruit hawker and his associate were injured when a rashly driven car (JK06- 1247) hit them. The car driver fled the spot after the accident while both the injured were shifted to DH Reasi for treatment. They were identified as Mohd Manzoor (50) , resident of Kansi Patta and Mohd Hanif (25), resident of Bidda.
Condition of both the injured was stated to be stable while Police has registered a case in this connection.
