UDHAMPUR, Aug 29: In an apparent case of suicide, a man was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house in village Padyari in Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Vijay Kumar (42), son of Suram Chand, resident of village Padyari in Ramnagar, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the villagers, a Police team from Ramnagar Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
The deceased had been working in a factory at Jammu where he was putting up with the entire family. He came to his village yesterday in connection with some revenue work and was found hanging today morning.
The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the dead body to family members while a case under section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
