UDHAMPUR, May 6: In an apparent case of suicide, a man was found hanging from a tree near his house at village Pathi in Tehsil Panchari, here today.
According to the reports, Subash Chander (48), son of Charan Dass, resident of Pathi, was found hanging from tree near his house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by some locals, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities. A case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered in this connection and further investigation was going.
