JAMMU, Aug 5: A man who was found blood ridden in unconscious condition in the fields near his residence at Dhatrayal area of Marh and was undergoing treatment here at Government Medical College and Hospital, expired late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Dayal Singh (26) son of Saroop Singh, a resident of Dhatrayal in Marh area. The deceased person was found unconscious in the fields near his residence with injuries at one of the eyes and throat on the evening on 2nd of this month following which his family members shifted him here at GMCH for treatment.
Only yesterday it came to fore that it was an assault case following which father of the deceased approached Domana police and registered a case against a man identified as Suraj Parkash alias Vicky son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Dhatrayal. The father alleged that the accused attacked his son with a long screw driver over some old enmity.
After registering a case under relevant Sections in this regard, Domana police has started efforts to nab the accused person who was absconding.
