UDHAMPUR, June 22: A young man was found hanging in a cattle shed adjoining his house at village Marod in Jaganoo, under the jurisdiction of Udhampur Police Station, here today.
Reports said that Yashpal (36), son of Thakar Dass, resident of village Marod Jaganoo Udhampur, was found hanging in a cattle shed under mysterious circumstances.
The hanging body was spotted by the family members, who called Police. Later, the dead body shifted to District Hospital for postmortem.
It was an apparent case of suicide though cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained. Police has registered the case for further investigation.
