JAMMU, Oct 19: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Malhotra Mohalla area of the winter capital.
As per reports, Chander Malhotra, son of Agya Ram of Malhotra Mohalla allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence.
Finding him hanged, family members informed the police and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
