JAMMU, Nov 17: A man allegedly hanged himself to death, while a house made abortive bid to end life.
As per sources, a man identified as Pawan Kumar (30), son of Dev Raj, a resident of Akhnoor, District Jammu was found hanging with a tree at village Kathal near Sarsu Bridge in Ghordi under Mysterious circumstances.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Ramnagar for the postmortem.
Ramnagar police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, a lady identified as Sunakshi Devi (30), wife of Sat Pal, a resident of Barmin allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur, from where doctors referred her to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
Udhampur Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
