JAMMU, Dec 6: Pir Mitha police today arrested a person and recovered 200 grams of charas from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Pir Mitha police station intercepted a person on suspicious grounds near DC office.
During checking, police recovered 200 grams of charas and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Ahmed Raza, son of Mushtaq Ahmed Mir, a resident of Mohalla Dalpatian, Jammu.
A case under FIR number 97/14 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Pir Mitha police station and investigation started.
