JAMMU, Apr 28: A man was arrested today after six gram of heroin was recovered from his possession.
According to police sources, a police party from police station Satwari during naka checking at Lower Gadigarh near National Hospital stopped one pedestrian namely Arun Khajuria son of late Lok Nath Khajuria, resident of Lower Gadigarh, who was on his way from Satwari Chowk towards Lower Gadigarh, for police check.
They said that during search of his belongings, the police party recovered 6 gram of heroin from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No 75/2018 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Satwari and further investigation of the case is going on.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police team headed by SHO, police station Satwari, Manjeet Singh, and SI Sikander Singh under the supervision of SDPO City South, Rafiq Manhas and SP City South, Sandeep Chaudhary.
