JAMMU, Aug 24: Bishnah police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in village Kotli Charka and apprehended a man along with 5 litres of illicit liquor. The police team also destroyed 50 litres of lahan on the spot.
The arrested person has been identified as Kewal Kumar, son of Sardari Lal, a resident of village Kotli Charka.
A case under FIR Number 183/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
