JAMMU, Dec 18: Bishnah police arrested a man and recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in Kotli Charka and arrested a man along with 5 litres of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Kewal Kumar, son of Sardari Lal, a resident of Kotli Charka.
A case under FIR Number 194/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Paramjit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
