JAMMU, Mar 29: Police claimed today that they have arrested one person and recovered 31 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that Raj Kumar Khera of Jagti Jammu, who was involved in liquor selling and purchasing business, was caught from Karan Nagar area along with 31 bottles of JK Special Whisky (180 ml each).
“The accused has been booked in case FIR number 42/2013 under section 48(f) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and further investigation started,” he said.
