JAMMU, May 31: One person was arrested with 500 grams of ganja in Kanachak area here today, officials said.
Balwant Singh (38) alias Banttu of Kalyanpur, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu, was arrested with the consignment from Kalyanpur by a party of Police Station Kanachak during routine patrolling duty, they said.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 80/2024 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kanachak and further investigation taken up.
