RAMBAN, Aug 8: Police in Banihal town of Ramban district arrested an individual and recovered 6 grams of heroin from his possession.
Mohammad Rafiq of Amkoot, Tehsil Banihal, District Ramban was arrested with the consignment during routine patrolling duty by a team of Police Station Banihal, a police official said.
He has been booked in case FIR number 12 of 2024 under section 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Banihal and further investigation taken up, he said.
