JAMMU, Dec 5: One person was arrested with a desi katta and a live round from Miran Sahib area today.
Harjinder Singh alias Kaka of Chak Jandran, Arnia, currently residing at TCP Kharian, Miran Sahib, was arrested with the weapon and a live round during routine patrolling duty by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib near Balol Bridge on Ring Road, a police official said.
Accordingly, he was booked in case FIR number 120/2024 under section 3/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up, said the police official.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned Inspector Bopinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and SP Headquarters IH Rather.
