KATHUA, July 25: Police arrested one person under Excise Act and recovered 60 nips of illicit liquor from his possession at Lakhanpur today.
A police party from Lakhanpur ‘Thana’ acting on specific information conducted a raid at village Mah near Lakhanpur town and apprehended one Hukam Chand, son of Ram Saran, resident of Mah village and recovered 60 nips of illicit (Desi) liquor from his possession. A case FIR No. 94/2013, under Section 48 Excise Act was registered against the accused.
