DODA, Oct 25: Police arrested a person along with 64 pouches of illicit liquor from Pul Doda area here.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Doda police station laid a naka and intercepted a person on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 64 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession and nabbed him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Farooq, son of Samunder Naik of Pul Doda.
A case under FIR Number 168/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act and 185 MV Act has been registered against the accused at police station Doda and investigation started.
