RAMBAN, Feb 21: A man has been arrested along with illicit liquor here today.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka at Bowli Bazaar and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 60 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohinder Singh, son of Shri Chand, a resident of Dhanmasta, Tehsil Ukhral, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 33/19 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Vijay Kotwal made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
